我院大气科学系师生参加亚洲-大洋洲地球科学学会(AOGS)第11届年会

    亚洲-大洋洲地球科学学会(AOGS)第11届年会于2014年07月28日至 08月01日将在日本札幌召开，我院大气科学系共有6位老师和4位博士生参加了此次盛会。 作为AS01-44：Impacts of Global Change on Climate Vartability and Tropical Climate Hazards in Asia Oceania 的共同召集人，温之平教授主持了其中第一节的报告交流会。杨崧教授（ Subseasonal-seasonal Predictability and Prediction of the Asian Monsoon），温之平教授（Influence of Two Types of El Ni?os on the East Asian Climate During Boreal Summer: A Numerical Study），简茂球教授（ Persistent Drought Events in April to May in South China and the Related General Circulation Background），黎伟标教授（Characteristics of the Synoptic Time Scale Variability over the South China Sea），樊琦副教授（Diagnostic Analysis of the Sulfate Aerosol Pollution in Spring Over Pearl River Delta, China）,乔云亭副教授（Interannual Variability of Spring and Summer Precipitation over South China and its Relationship with Indian Ocean Sea Surface Temperature），周国军（ Depiction of Multi-scale Variations of the Western Pacific Warm Pool and Their Relationships with Global SST and Precipitation）， 胡晓明（Contrasting Feedback Attributions of Atmospheric and Surface Temperature Anomalies Related to Eastern Pacific ENSO and Central Pacific ENSO）， 张团团（ Variations of Convection Over the Maritime Continent and Their Relationships with Large-scale Climate Anomalies），刘昊亚（ Effects of Ocean Mesoscale Eddies on Tropic Cloud Clusters Over the South China Sea）分别进行了口头报告和墙报交流。

    亚洲-大洋洲地球科学学会成立于 2003年，旨在促进地球科学发展以造福人类，特别是解决亚洲和大洋洲的全球性问题。全球因自然灾害失去生命的人中，几乎 80%属于亚洲与大洋洲，该地区是特别易受自然灾害的地区。AOGS深入参与处理自然灾害问题，并通过科学、社会和技术的方法加深人们对灾害成因的理解。AOGS举行年度会议用以交流科学知识，这是一个独特的学术界、研究机构和公众之间讨论重要地球科学问题的绝好机会。AOGS2015将于明年在新加坡召开。
