报告人简介:
Dr. Peng Wang is Assistant Professor of Environmental Sciences and Engineering in the Division of Chemical and Life Sciences & Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) at Saudi Arabia. Dr. Wang received his doctoral degrees in Environmental Science and Management from University of California at Santa Barbara (USA) in 2008. He earned his master’s degree in Environmental Geography from Sun Yat-Sen University, China. Dr. Wang holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Nanjing University, China. Dr. Wang's current research interests at KAUST include: (1) development of highly efficient and new-generation nanomaterials for environmental decontamination via adsorption, catalysis, etc.; (2) sensor development based on microfluidics and/or nanoparticles for fast water contaminant analysis by fluorescent, colorimetric, or electrochemical detection.
